The bloody rain has FINALLY stopped.

Thank you all for your wonderful support. I will miss you for the little while we’re out of touch.

Big hugs for you all.

  5. I am envious – you’ve earned this, you two, and I’m so happy for you. Enjoy the heck out of the good parts, and ignore what you can of anything not perfect (hope there’s very little of that).

We are safe and sound, and finding our bravery in the most unexpected places. πŸ™‚ Staying in one place for a couple of weeks to rebalance and reboot. A completely different climate, altitude, energy, etc. πŸ™‚

on the road again, sniffing a’holes with my friends again … etc.
Yes, I almost always travelled with dogs as second seat.

If you find yourselves singing ‘Three wheels on my wagon, but I’m still rolling along…’ then please stop and check the wheels and tyres. The very best of luck to you, happy travels! πŸ™‚

Funny you should mention that. We were so knackered when we left the house that we did minimal checks on the RV, and when we recovered enough at our first campground we completed them and discovered that we’d been running the tires on 35psi when they should’ve been 50 psi. Thankfully, one of the things we saved all our pfennigs up for was an impressively sized air compressor, that we’d initially decided was too big and heavy to take, but then decided at the last minute to bring with us!

Thanks Susieee πŸ™‚ … adventures are being had, let me tell you! We are safe and well, and enjoying this glorious high-altitude sunshine … in moderation though, cos’ it’s so easy to get burned without all that ‘beside the seaside’ stuff to filter out the UV rays.

Thanks Nellifant. πŸ˜€ We are indeed safe, and fun is being had inbetween the usual amounts of things that can, and do, go sideways on an adventure like this. πŸ™‚ … I did an update yesterday.

I’ve been out of touch because Yahoo, in its wisdom, has been dumping almost all blogs I follow into spam. I thought it had been quiet lately. Anyway, whatever’s going on (and I haven’t a clue), have a good trip.
