Snow?

It’s cold enough to snow.

There’s enough moisture in the air to snow.

The forecast is for snow.

I look out my window and the Winter tree is covered in … raindrops.

This wee duckling is a lot happier about the rain than I am, but thanks Clip-art for the cute image 😊

I’m sure I have some pictures from the Snows-of-Winter’s-Past (2017, I think) around here somewhere to console myself with …

Ahh, that’s better

It’s raining in Vancouver, although the forecast did mention snow. Maybe tomorrow or in a few days. I haven’t seen snow this winter yet.

I would much prefer to enjoy the snow of my memories. They threaten and we get a dusting. I’m OK with that. I have too many memories of way too much snow. Bring on the rain!

I remember the snows of my yoof, when we just dug out the car and drove through one, two, three or more feet of snow – the trick on major roads was to hang in behind a snowplough and a gritter lorry until you absolutely had to turn off. I’ve finished shifts at work where we all oiked out to the car park to find a white space with car-sized bumps with only the radio aerials poking out into the air, and we all had to dig to find out which car was which… Better days, undoubtedly. Now half an inch stops even the trains running!
