These guys are consummate professionals.
We had a wonderful pirate party for my nephew Jack 2 years ago. He was leaning toward a disco pirate super hero DJ theme this year, with a pirate ship came (which I’d made him in the past) but today he tells me the cake he wants is a gorilla riding a motorcycle. Send help! The pirate ship is suddenly seeming so much easier.

Oh gawd!!! … you might wanna try the toy isle of your local dollar store for a giant edible tattoo you could just stick on top of a suitably shaped cake … or better yet, if you’ve got a steady hand and a keen eye, paint a scene with food dye onto a sheet of rice paper, which is also edible, that you stick, or have pre-stuck, on to the cake icing … that’s all I got. 🙂 … good luck. 😀

I DO have a banner here at home with a skull a crossbones on it that says “the beatings will continue until morale improves.”
I had it up at work for a while where it generated some laughs…..
