I Was There At The Beginning And I’ll Be The At The End – My One And Only Trailer For Star Wars: Episode IX

I only watch the first trailer for movies that I’m excited about, so this is it for me. Now comes eight months of an extended, excited kind of torture.

Me, as I'm watching this ...

OMG a 40-year saga coming to a close, and it *looks* like they might have really captured the feel of the first one with this last one again. (fingers crossed!)

And then there’s resisting the temptation to get sucked into all the ‘talking heads’ out there who’ll have strong opinions either way … they’ve already started actually. I mean, it’s eight months away and already the fanboys are taking up arms … idiots! … and deciding on the basis of this one, non-spoilery trailer that they know exactly how the story will be framed.

It sucks that I can’t wait to see/do something that happens AFTER SUMMER. I don’t winter to come back but I want Star Wars!

I’m on the fence with these and I think I’m in the minority here. I’m still trying to get over Laura Dern saying, “Godspeed,” to the rebels in Last Jedi. Wasn’t she supposed to say “The Force be with you?” !!!??? “Godspeed”??? Blasphemy! 🙂
