Weird thing is, the night before I the trailer was released I started a rewatch myself! I knew this movie was coming out sometime this year, so I thought I’d refresh my memory of the finer details. Talk about serendipity. 😀

For the Skywalker saga, I think so, but Disney isn’t going to let this cash cow go. There are several movies in the works set in the same ‘universe’, so there’ll probably be ‘Star Wars’ franchise films being made long after you and I are distant memories. 🙂

And then there’s resisting the temptation to get sucked into all the ‘talking heads’ out there who’ll have strong opinions either way … they’ve already started actually. I mean, it’s eight months away and already the fanboys are taking up arms … idiots! … and deciding on the basis of this one, non-spoilery trailer that they know exactly how the story will be framed.

I’m on the fence with these and I think I’m in the minority here. I’m still trying to get over Laura Dern saying, “Godspeed,” to the rebels in Last Jedi. Wasn’t she supposed to say “The Force be with you?” !!!??? “Godspeed”??? Blasphemy! 🙂
