A couple of weeks ago I did a ‘Bon Voyage’ post for Carol Channing, and I couldn’t find a video that epitomized her. I went with one I liked, but it wasn’t quite ‘it. Today I found ‘it’.
I give you the stupendous, the magnificent, the quirky, Carol Channing … take it away Carol …
Real entertainment without all the innuendos of today!

I love that she knew exactly what she was doing, where she was on the stage, and made it look as though she was having a blast. 😀 … and how about that little bit of vintage Dinah Shore! 😀

I’m glad you remembered to share that your book is available. Kind of important! Lol. And thanks for the Channing video. She was marvelous. 🙂

Yeah! 😀 … I got so caught up in the ‘doing’ that I forgot about the ‘telling’. 😀

I have a copy of Prelude, soon to be reviewed if I can find good enough words to do it justice. But would love a paperback copy for my bookshelf, any chance?

Funny you should mention that 🙂 … I’ve set aside today to joust with IngramSpark to do just that very thing. I got a coupon from the people who created my cover art (I added the text) for IngramSpark that covers my set-up costs, so, wish me luck! 😀 … as soon as it’s up and running, I’ll post the good news IMMEDIATELY! not a week later, like I did with Amazon 😀

It’s going to take a little longer than I thought. 😀 … my brain is cross-eyed from trying to figure it all out, but I’m nothing if not stubborn! 😀

I always use Lulu, not quite so complicated…

I’ve put it aside for a little while. Formatting for Smashwords and the Zon ebook was a piece of cake compared to it … and think thoughts about just paying someone to do it. It’s a question of energy. My energy of doingness versus the energy of money doingness.

She was … and thanks. Print is proving more of a challenge than I anticipated though. 🙂

Oh dear. I was thinking of attempting a print copy of my kindle ebook. It was bad enough trying to fathom that.

I was trying to format my MS for ImgramSpark and they were, sparse, on the ‘how-to’s’, so I’m going to investigate Createspace (now part of KDP) and Lulu, also The Book Designer’s templates. I’ll find something that’ll work. 😀

I gather Lulu is fairly user friendly. Do you know this organisation. It’s UK-based: https://selfpublishingadvice.org/
Highly reputable and produce lots of useful info even if you aren’t a member. They may have the gist of other platforms you haven’t yet tried too – tho at the mo’ I’d be surprised 🙂 Good luck.

Thanks for the link … I’m ploughing through Createspace/KDP at the moment … It’s so much more user friendly. I think IngramSpark hasn’t quite got the memo that self-pubbers need different set-up-your-manuscript information, than trad-pubbers … Lulu is next.
So, all things being equal (hah!) I might have something workable by the middle of the week. 😀
