  1. So sad to hear this. She was an amazing poet. The one you shared is astonishing beautiful and a perfect tribute to her passing.

  2. We are going to lose every one of us some day; our work is left behind. I hope some of mine makes it. I don’t know why it is so important to me, but it is. That, and there being nothing other than writing that I can do any more.

We get a chance to shake up the world; some of the luckier ones, the more determined ones, the very good ones, take that chance and run with it.

I’m an ignoramus when it comes to poetry, but that one rang bells, even for me. One life, one chance to live without regret. I don’t believe in an afterlife, but I do believe that the work of our hands and minds can live on.

I feel so sad. I love her Wild Geese poem… that Death poem is a perfect sendoff for her isn’t it? It’s all over my Facebook ❤

I wasn’t aware of this poet; I looked her up. She no doubt left her mark on many people and made the world a little bit of a better place.
