  1. Annie Lennox wearing a t-shirt that says “HIV Positive”?
    I had to goggle that one and came up with the fact that she was wearing that t-shirt back in 2010 not because she herself was HIV Positive but to show solidarity and support for the millions of people around the world who are.

  3. Aretha was a one of a kind. Cheers to her!
    Did you see the video of her singing an opera piece at an award show several years ago? She stepped in at the last minute when Pavarotti couldn’t do it for some reason. Two hours to practice. In another era, Aretha would’ve been the greatest opera singer.

  5. I remember being a young teenager and singing loudly to RESPECT with my girlfriends. Aretha was a powerhouse and she’ll be missed.
