Bon Voyage, Margot Kidder

Hey Margot, say hello to Christopher for us …

From the Toronto Sun files

She was the best movie Lois Lane, ever. No-one since has come close to how well she embodied the essence of that full-on, flat-out Lois Lane energy.

You will be missed.

  1. This scene is from Superman 2 (1980) and shows the moment when Lois Lane (Margot Kidder) first discovers the true identity of Clarke Kent.

As an aside may I mention my favourite Margot Kidder movie was THE AMITYVILLE HORROR (1979)

    RIP Margot.

I used to want to be her when I was younger- so smart and a bit kooky as Lois Lane 😦

You’re right, she was, and such an important voice for mental health issues. Lovely lady gone too soon.

  5. I remember seeing Superman for the first time at the former Century Almaden in south San Jose many years ago, Margot Kidder was a perfect Lois Lane.
