We’ve had snow on the ground since early December. It looked something like this …

Our street in the middle of January
But then along came our usual rainy weather and it all started to melt …

I’m melting
(Looks like Rosemary survived fairly unscathed)
I felt like Winter was disappearing before my very eyes

I’m melting … I’m melting
But then … at 8am this morning …

I’m melt … whoopsie!!!
SNOW!!!!

Snow-mores!!!!
In other related news, I have a chitis in my broncs (bronchitis) and I can’t go out and play. There’s nothing sadder for a grownup who loves snow as much as I do.
Aw, feel better. Hoping there’s plenty of snow around when you’re able to go out and play.

Given how long it’s lasted so far, I’m thinking the odds may just be in my favour! 😀

I had bronchitis for the first time in my life this past month – no fun. My sympathies.

First time I’ve ever used one of those puffer things too … it’s scary how much better I can breathe.

Oh? It didn’t do ANYTHING for me; in fact, it made it slightly worse. I don’t know if the steroids did anything, though they made me finish them.
The thing that seemed to help the most was the antibiotics for the brochitis – but, just as I was getting better (I think), I caught husband’s cold/cough (which he originally thought he got from me), and was out another month. It’s been brutal – first year in a long time. I think the stress of the bad stuff going on isn’t helping. I’m anxious about it, can’t do anything, and every day brings a fresh outrage.
Am trying to hide an write, as I really can’t DO anything.

I was about to say it looks like Spring until I saw the last picture ⛄

I was taking a picture every day as it melted and planning a very sad ‘going, going, gone’ post. This is much nicer. 😀

Sorry to hear about your chitis. I hope the snow lasts long enough for you to enjoy.

Dammit. I hope it doesn’t linger, or return, like the snow

I have a feeling that wouldn’t stop me… I would have to step out and feel the cold air on my face and hear the subtle crunch underfoot…

Middle of the night and it’s still snowing … I’m definitely going out and playing tomorrow. 😀

Lucky you… do a crunch for me?

I crunched away and even managed a few shovels of snow off the driveway before my lungs started to protest … back inside now, with a cuppa, and watching the snow continue to fall. 😀

I did sneak out after Mrs Widds shoveled the pathway and took the last pic, but breathing in the snow dust sent me back inside quick smart … I’m hoping to be up to a bit of a walk tomorrow. 😀

Yeah, at the moment, it looks like winter wonderland in Vancouver too. I thought spring finally arrived, but the yesterday’s snowfall put a spoke in my spring daydreams. It’s melting though.
Take care of your ‘chitis’. A nasty bugger.

1.30pm Saturday … Weather report says we’ll have another three days!!! … add a pinch of salt … and our front yard will be over a meter deep!
‘chitis is slowly succumbing to antibiotics and soups. 😀

It’s snowing again! Living in Vancouver for the past 23 years, I’m not used to so much snow.

We lived there from 2004 until 2013. I can only recall one winter where it matched anything like this … hope you’re all warm and snug, and don’t have to go out in it.

Sorry to hear about that pesky chitis in your broncs. I agree with you about snow, though! I like it a lot – as long as I’m warm enough and don’t have to go anywhere! 🙂
