I wasn’t planning to watch NBC’s latest offering, Blindspot. My dance card was already nigh to overflowing, and besides, I’d read that the lead actor’s emotional range went from ‘serious scowl’ to ‘my forehead has more furrows than the Mariana Trench scowl’.
Problem was, Brain connected that face to the name, of the person actually starring in the show, Jamie Alexander – she of Lady Sif (‘Thor’ movies and guest spots on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) fame … and Brain would not be swayed from this position.
As I studied the stills on the show’s Wikipedia page I could see something was off. Brain told me I was imagining things and I believed Brain because Brain was the final arbiter in all things think-y.
But secretly? I harboured doubts. Doubts strong enough to convince me to watch the pilot episode. (which now that I think about it, was Brain’s endgame all along)
Brain is now fired.
Dis-em-brain-ed Body seeks new partner in think-y things.
