Seems like everybody and their derg is featuring an ‘exclusive’ clip of the new Star Wars movie.
After my official fan-dyke squeee, way back when the very first trailer was released I decided to not look at any more ‘reveals’ in order to wallow … erm … enjoy the fully immersive experience I’m sure the movie’s going to be.
But … Holy Gucamole Batman, there are bits of it scattered everywhere. On my favourite blogs, social media, (not that I do much social media-ing) websites, cinema. (I don’t watch TV, so there’s that, too)
I’m sure if I drove off Widder Island there’d be huge billboards all along the highway with ‘selected stills’ in glorious technicolour. I could use them to distract me from watching a roadworks crew ripping out old telegraph poles and replacing them with shiny new ones while I’m stuck in a line of traffic waiting for ‘em to let us through. But I’m not going to look at billboards either so I’d have to just wait, and wait, and wait … it’s probably best if I just stay here on our gorgeous Autumn-y Island.
