She’s one of many writers whom I’ve never gotten around to reading. What did you like best of hers?

I had a love/hate relationship with her books way back in the ’90’s when I discovered her in my little local library. Some I didn’t get, and some I really ‘got’. 🙂 and I’d probably have a completely different response if I read them now … which doesn’t answer your question does it?
… The first book I read was the Black Unicorn, book 1 of the Unicorn series, and ‘getting’ or ‘not getting’ aside, I was hooked on Tanith-the Author, from that moment on.

  2. Another author I’m learning about because of her passing away. I just read an interview with her in which she described how she typed her manuscripts in a zig-zag, cross, then down manner. What an amazing thought process. The next time I go to the library, I’ll see if any of her books are there to check out.

  3. This makes me so sad. I remember reading her Flat Earth series way back in the day. It was my very first exposure to literature that wasn’t completely heteronormative and opened up a world for me. I need to find those books somewhere as they are no longer in print.

Yeah, I have a yen to revisit old ‘Tanith’ friends too … might hit our local library, failing that there’s a couple of second-hand bookstores in town … hmm-mm … be right back! 🙂
