A Pitching I will go, a pitching I will go. Hi ho the Derry-o, a pitching I will go

Monday marks the beginning of the Muse Online Writers Conference. If you’re at all interested in writing, fiction, non-fiction, or any genre, I can’t recommend it highly enough. Sign up for next year’s conference as soon as you can.

I’ve been working on this final draft of Mortal Instinct since mid Spring, and it’s almost complete. (Barring one last check for those typos that look so obvious, once you find them!) And come Wednesday 13th October I will enter a chatroom and have five minutes to sell my manuscript to the acquisitions editor of a publishing house. An opportunity to pitch the final version of a story that began as something else entirely.

I’ll post how it goes, and Episode 2 of ‘The Manuscript ‘n  Me’ soon thereafter.

In the meantime it’s back to the editing  for me.
